About Us

The Operational Muscle Behind Industry.

A global perspective born to ensure the continuity of the industrial planet.

The origin

The Philosophy Behind Our Name

Our business perspective is not limited by borders or distances. The name Blue Dot Automation (BDA) is inspired by the famous reflection of astronomer Carl Sagan on the photograph taken by the Voyager 1 spacecraft: "A pale blue dot" (Pale Blue Dot).

From that cosmic distance, political boundaries disappear and Earth is revealed as a single interconnected and fragile ecosystem that depends on precision and protection to survive.

Pale Blue Dot

A global vision turned into an engineering mandate

For us, that vision became an engineering mandate. We understood from day one that distance is a controllable variable and that supply chains, energy, and the critical infrastructure of this "blue dot" demand a homogeneous, robust, and borderless standard of protection.

We were born with an intrinsically global vocation, designed to mobilize knowledge and specialized technical force to any latitude where a corporation’s operational continuity is at risk.

Our trajectory

Evolution and Continental Consolidation

BDA’s history is a testimony of relentless execution, strategic growth, and technical scalability. What began as a highly specialized firm has evolved into a hemispheric benchmark for IT/OT support.

Timeline

From a specialized firm to a continental IT/OT support force

2014 - 2015

Birth and Global Validation

Founded in December 2014, BDA immediately demonstrated its international DNA by executing its first major cross-border project in January 2015, just one month after its incorporation. The rapid technical response consolidated our first macro-project in the local market in June of that same year and the formal adoption of Official Integrator programs for the world’s leading automation firms, including the Rockwell Automation ecosystem.

2018

Critical Mass and Field Expansion

By May 2018, the firm reached a critical operational mass of 20 full-time professionals, 15 of whom were field engineers dedicated exclusively to technical commissioning. This structure guaranteed the redundancy and bandwidth needed to absorb simultaneous large-scale projects.

2019

Conquest of High-Demand Markets

The year 2019 marked the definitive consolidation of the engineering-hours export arm. In February, we began massive commissioning operations in the United States, and in June we expanded our footprint into Brazil, mastering the two largest industrial markets on the continent. In November 2019, we signed our first multi-year contract for continuous engineering services, migrating the business model toward long-term partnership relationships.

2021 - 2025

Macro-Integration and Exponential Internationalization

During this period, BDA experienced unprecedented growth. Locally, we took on the automation of treatment plants, smart wells, and continuous production systems for the most influential corporations in the region. Internationally, we consolidated our position as the preferred Task Force for intralogistics giants opening high-speed fulfillment centers across North America.

February 2026

The Current Ecosystem

We formally designed and launched our strategic architecture of 4 operational pillars: Advanced Automation, International Commissioning, High-End Software Solutions (CMMS and SAP Integration), and Critical Power Infrastructure (UPS/BMS).
